At Calma we use anti wrinkle injections* to relax the selected muscles that cause the wrinkles to develop in the first place. The overlying skin smoothes causing the lines and wrinkles to soften and prevents them deepening and new lines developing in the treated area.

It is also being used to lift the eyebrow and ipen up the eye for a more youthful appearance. Doctors have also reported good results in nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth, smokers lips, reducing neck lines and chin dimpling or creasing.

How does it work?
After your consultation, the injection treatment will take around 10 minutes to perform. No anaesthetic is required as this is a fine needle treatment and is virtually painless. The results will develop over the next few days and last for up to 4 months.

Once treated, you will be able to immediately return to your daily activities or work, making this the perfect anti-wrinkle treatment to have in your lunch break.

Anti wrinkle injections are highly effective and depending on your needs, may be used on their own in conjunction with wrinkle fillers. This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding or for patients with a neuronmuscular disease.
